<description><![CDATA[<p>Summary:<br/>Responsible for the treatment, care, and management of patients with deficiencies and/or abnormalities of the cardio-respiratory system.  Acts as clinical resource in all areas of patient care and, further, contributes to the overall quality of patient care.<br/><br/>Position Responsibilities:<br/>Performs assessment of patients and develops their respiratory plan of care.<br/><br/>Administers treatments/medications as prescribed by the physician.<br/><br/>Demonstrates competency in all aspects of invasive and non-invasive ventilator care.<br/><br/>Demonstrates competency in all aspects of the Blood Gas Laboratory.<br/>Teaches and reinforces education on disease process, treatment, and wellness to patient and/or family and the community at large.<br/>Set-up, operate, and maintain medical gas and airway humidification systems .<br/>Demonstrates the knowledge and ability to interact/interface with varying computer information management systems in order to document patient care related activities.<br/>NOTE:  Consistent accuracy of above workload distribution highly variable as described. <title><![CDATA[Dosimetrist Radiation Therapy - (Voorhees, New Jersey)]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>Summary:<br/>Maintains knowledge of the overall characteristics of radiation oncology treatment machines and equipment, and has the education and expertise necessary to generate radiation dose distributions and dose calculations in collaboration with the Medical Physicist and radiation oncologist<br/><br/>Position Responsibilities:<br/>Designs treatment plans that will deliver the prescribed radiation dose and field placement technique in accordance with the radiation oncologist's prescription to a defined tumor volume.  Considers dose-limiting structures in the design of treatment plans and documents dose in accordance with the prescription<br/><br/>Performs calculations according to the physician's prescribed dose and documents all pertinent information in the patient record, and verifies the mathematical accuracy of all calculations under the direction of the Medical Physicist.<br/><br/>Assists the radiation oncologist by determining optimum treatment fields to accommodate volumes utilizing knowledge of field shape, gantry angulation, blocking, MLC, IMRT, and computerized dosimetry.<br/><br/>Provides technical support to the Medical Physicist in radiation protection, qualitative machine calibrations, and quality assurance.<br/><br/>Supports the technical staff in the implementation of the treatment plan, i.e., correct use of the immobilization device, compensators, wedges, field arrangements, and other parameters.<br/><br/>Maintains an extended knowledge of the practices, methods, techniques, and new developments in radiation oncology treatment planning.  Participates in continuing education in the area of current treatment planning techniques, and advances in medical dosimetry<br/>Works with the radiation oncologist, simulation therapist, and medical physicist as a team approach to treatment planning<br/><br/>Supports and/or assists in planning of the fabrication of compensation filters, custom shields, wedges, and other beam modifying devices.  Produces block shapes to design for multi-leaved collimator.<br/><br/>Ensures that the treatment plan is approved by the physician prior to the first treatment. <description><![CDATA[<p>The Claims Edits Specialist is responsible for the management of all claims resulting from charges within the VMG practice management system. Claims and TES edits management personnel are the gatekeepers of the claims process taking into consideration claim's accuracy, compliance, and expedient throughput to maintain optimal performance and cash collections.  This position will be hands-on for daily management of claims submission, edits, trended errors and effective communication with training staff to reduce variation, and resolve edits to clean processed claims.<br/><br/>Position Responsibilities:<br/>Review claims edits for cause<br/><br/>Categorize edits to identify patterns that require follow up training or attention by trainers, front end personnel, coding or credentialing, send necessary files to practices.<br/><br/>Act as a liaison to the practices assisting in overall timely resolution of TES edits.<br/><br/>Collaborate closely with Training Team to identify training needs, assess A/R rejections and denials, negative payer trends, and provide education and feedback to employees and management for appropriate action<br/><br/>Develop process for monitoring action plan to timely resolution<br/><br/>Participate in the development and maintenance of practice policies and procedures related to, but not limited to operations of the practice management system.<br/><br/>Effectively communicate to the system administrator all payer and edits rules that create system driven notification if rules criteria is not met<br/><br/>Create a formal communication process with VMG coders regarding all claims errors flag for coding inaccuracy<br/><br/>Under the direction of the Revenue Cycle Manager, will evaluate aged accounts receivable and coordinate efforts to bring accounts to resolution with assigned billing service<br/><br/>Maintain appropriate level of knowledge of revenue cycle process as well as the practice management software by continuous training and third party education (e.g. payers, seminars, etc.). <br/><br/>Will perform special accounts receivable projects as assigned<br/><br/>Experience Required:<br/>Minimum of 3 years physician billing experience in all aspects of billing office and overall accounts receivable functions including but not limited to:  payment posting, insurance recovery, edits management, claims submission. <br/>Must be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge of carrier rules with all government as well as commercial carriers. <br/>Must have extensive physician practice management information systems experience in applications as well as reporting.<br/><br/>Required Education:<br/>High School Diploma Required</p>]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[<p>Summary:<br/>Performs clerical and secretarial duties on the unit.  Prepares, compiles, and maintains patient and operational records in the nursing unit. <br/><br/>Position Responsibilities:<br/>Processes and maintains clerical information on unit, including lab and other test results. Transcribes and accurately enters physician orders into the computer system.  Responds to, screens and refers telephone messages and requests regarding patient information and unit operation to the appropriate personnel.  Assists with coordination of patient flow and visitor security.<br/><br/>Maintains patient medical records in computer system, ensuring completeness and accuracy of patient charts and records, physician orders, admission, discharge, transfer status.<br/><br/>Assists with coordination of patient flow. Sets up transportation and appointments for follow up with physicians.<br/><br/>Maintains supplies, equipment, and places orders for service, coordinating with Environmental Support Services as required. <br/><br/>Position Qualifications Required<br/>Experience Required:<br/>Basic computer skills (word processing, data entry), with ability to quickly learn and become proficient using Unit computer systems.<br/>Understanding / familiarity of medical terminology or ability to quickly learn in order to process and maintain accurate medical records<br/>Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills demonstrating the ability to communicate clearly, effectively, tactfully, and courteously with customers and staff on all levels.<br/>Ability to multi-task effectively.<br/>1-2 years secretarial or administrative assistant experience in a medical setting is preferred.<br/><br/>Required Education:<br/>High school graduate or equivalent. <br/>Additional coursework in the medical support field is preferred.</p><p>PT 12hpw 7a-7p, includes weekends and holidays as required.</p>]]></description>

<title><![CDATA[OB Triage Nurse Practitioner - (Voorhees, New Jersey)]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[Summary:<br/>Will independently assess, diagnose, prescribe medications and treat patients according to the established protocols in collaboration with physicians.  The NP will function within the scope of practice as defined by the state nurses practice act, delineation of privileges set forth by the practice setting and the American Nurses&iquest; Association Code of Ethics. Provide triage referral coordination, develops differential diagnosis, and individualized care plans along with patient education for specific disease types as appropriate.<br/><br/><br/>Position Responsibilities:<br/>Provides the range of treatment or service needed by the patient based on the patient&iquest;s age specific and acute/chronic or health maintenance needs. This range of treatment  includes, but is not limited to History and Physicals exams, consultations and referrals, Ordering and interpreting laboratory and diagnostic tests.  Pharmacologic interventions, where clinically indicated, will be in accordance with the established joint protocols and APN prescribing guidelines.<br/><br/>Performs therapeutic treatments, including but not limited to: wound care, suturing, performing and assisting with minor office procedures, and drain removal.<br/><br/>Administrative responsibilities which may include scheduling surgical cases, providing triage, orientation of clinical staff, precepting of students, and call rotation as required based on the practice. Ensures practice compliance in accordance with regulatory guidelines. Displays motivation and initiative in meeting the goals of the practice.<br/><br/>Appropriately documents subjective and objective findings including assessment and plan in the patient&iquest;s medical record. Ensures accurate coding and billing.<br/><br/>Collaborates with interdisciplinary care team to provide each patient and their family the highest quality healthcare. Including assessment of patient/family knowledge and initiation of patient/family education. For uncommon or unstable conditions, the NP will participate in the diagnosis with consultation and either refer to a specialist or participate in the dual management and treatment with the collaborating physician.<br/>Position Qualifications Required<br/>Experience Required:<br/>Must have excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.<br/><br/>Required Education:<br/>Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, Masters Degree in Nursing.<br/><br/>Training/Certifications/Licensure:<br/>Stay current with Medical trends and provide evidence-based practice medicine by completing the required continuing education credits as mandated by state requirement.<br/>Certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse is required. <br/>Current NJ RN license and appropriate Advance Practice licensure for specialty.   <br/>BLS certification.
