<description><![CDATA[<p>Summary:<br/>Performs CT scan examinations in accordance with established protocols, procedures, and techniques. Participates in divisional rotation (Voorhees, Marlton and Berlin) when employed by the Virtua South.<br/><br/><br/>Position Responsibilities:<br/>Consistently performs high quality CT scan studies for our patient populations according to protocols established by the radiologist.  Demonstrates knowledge of routine and non-routine CT exams and applies those principles to obtain high quality images based upon the patients age, habitus and/or disease process.  May also perform more extensive radiologic and CT scanning functions for diagnostic purposes.<br/><br/>Demonstrates thorough knowledge and utilization of all CT scan equipment and film and takes appropriate actions when service calls are required. Demonstrates appropriate and effective use of RIS, PACS, Web Viewer, ADW workstation and other hospital based computer or PC systems.<br/>Consistently provides thorough and accurate documentation. Obtains pertinent medical information prior to the procedure, reviews and verifies physician&iquest;s orders.<br/>Provides safe and effective IV contrast administration, including IV catheter insertion. Preps patients according to established protocols. Assists physicians during interventional CT scan procedures.<br/><br/>Provides emergency &iquest;on-call&iquest; services where indicated. Also, Provides instruction to and assists in any training of new CT scan technologists.<br/><br/><br/>Position Qualifications Required<br/>Experience Required:<br/>Minimum of 1 year in CT preferred.<br/><br/>Required Education:<br/>Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology<br/><br/>Training/Certifications/Licensure:<br/>Certification with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).<br/>N.J. <description><![CDATA[<p>Summary:<br/>This position exists to assist patients, families and health care workers in meeting their religious/spiritual needs; to network with community organizations and resources in matters related to health and spiritual care; and to serve as a resource for Virtua on spiritual/religious matters.<br/><br/>Position Responsibilities:<br/>By way of responding to referrals from various sources, to assess the level of spiritual distress, provide appropriate interventions to patients and their families/friends in meeting their religious and spiritual needs through visitation, sacramental and ritual ministry and referral services and documenting the outcome of these interventions in the patient record.<br/>To provide the same comprehensive pastoral care to the health care workers and volunteers as needed and requested.<br/><br/>To oversee the chapel and pastoral care offices 7 days a week, 24 hours a day; processing requests for spiritual interventions on a priority basis, dispatching professional chaplains, community clergy and/or specially trained clergy and lay volunteers as appropriate; maximum response time per request being 24 hours.  To serve as a liaison and facilitator for area clergy. <description><![CDATA[Summary:<br/>Will independently assess, diagnose, prescribe medications and treat patients according to the established protocols in collaboration with physicians.  The NP will function within the scope of practice as defined by the state nurses practice act, delineation of privileges set forth by the practice setting and the American Nurses&iquest; Association Code of Ethics. Provide triage referral coordination, develops differential diagnosis, and individualized care plans along with patient education for specific disease types as appropriate.<br/><br/><br/>Position Responsibilities:<br/>Provides the range of treatment or service needed by the patient based on the patient&iquest;s age specific and acute/chronic or health maintenance needs. This range of treatment  includes, but is not limited to History and Physicals exams, consultations and referrals, Ordering and interpreting laboratory and diagnostic tests.  Pharmacologic interventions, where clinically indicated, will be in accordance with the established joint protocols and APN prescribing guidelines.<br/><br/>Performs therapeutic treatments, including but not limited to: wound care, suturing, performing and assisting with minor office procedures, and drain removal.<br/><br/>Administrative responsibilities which may include scheduling surgical cases, providing triage, orientation of clinical staff, precepting of students, and call rotation as required based on the practice. Ensures practice compliance in accordance with regulatory guidelines. Displays motivation and initiative in meeting the goals of the practice.<br/><br/>Appropriately documents subjective and objective findings including assessment and plan in the patient&iquest;s medical record. Ensures accurate coding and billing.<br/><br/>Collaborates with interdisciplinary care team to provide each patient and their family the highest quality healthcare.
