Responsible to coordinate and assist in obtaining and maintaining program certification. Coach each patient though all aspects of the surgical process. Coordinate clinical activities related to bariatric program in conjunction to providing effective staff relationship. Coordinate staff involved program activities and develop policies and procedures consistent with program objectives required by Center of Excellence and American Society of Bariatric Surgeons/ Surgical Review Corporation.

Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting in the planning, development and implementation of goals and objectives of Bariatric program or unit in conjunction with appropriate
director. Assist in program objectives on a continual basis; recommend changes to existing policies and procedures as appropriate.
Compile and maintain records, reports and documentation of program and/or unit
Implement and provide effective communication between ancillary departments and physicians, nursing personnel and other health care professionals regarding program and/or unit policies and procedures. Plan and conduct meetings with staff members involved in program activities to ensure compliance with established practices and keep employees abreast of current standards;
develop, in conjunction with others, appropriate training and employee orientation programs.

Assist with the development staff educational & competency program.

Participate in support group and other patient activities. Assist the Director promoting Virtua’s Bariatric Program., community or professional presentations, to both internal and external customers.

Ensures Coordination of multidisciplinary team in care of patient with optimal patient satisfaction and outcomes. Assist the Director and or Program Medical Directors and support clinicians in or conducts research.
Participate in the Committee for Bariatric Program (Advisory Board)

Assist the Director and or Program Medical Directors and support clinicians in or conducts research

Required Experience:
Minimum of 2 years experience in bariatrics

Required Education:
RN, BSN or Bachelors in associated filed, and Preferably Masters

Required Training/Certification/Licensure:
Active in National Association (ASMBS)

The Certified Athletic Trainer functions as an integral part of the Virtua Sports Medicine team and will serve as an extension of the Virtua system in a community setting. The Certified Athletic Trainer will be charged with coordinating care of the athlete by acting as the first responder, triaging appropriately and providing follow up care as directed by the supervising physician. The Certified Athletic Trainer will develop and expand the relationship of Virtua to the community organizations, clubs and events held at Total Turf Experience to further promote the Sports Medicine Program, its physicians and adjacent Virtua service lines.


Job Responsibilities:
Clinical:
The certified athletic trainer will perform the following functions regarding athletic injuries: prevention, assessment, first aide treatment as set forth by the NATA Board of Certification
Refer athletes for appropriate diagnostic and follow-up procedures and subsequent injury tracking
Assist in obtaining medical care appropriate for injury
Order, maintain and inventory supplies and clinical equipment
Community Programs/Education:
The certified athletic trainer will develop and implement quarterly, and PRN workshops/seminars on relevant sports medicine topics
Certified Athletic trainer will promote injury prevention through handouts, lectures, weekly sport tips
Program Development:
Develop relationships within community to promote Virtua Sports Medicine and its related services resulting in increased referrals to the Washington Twp Wellness Center services and other Virtua services
Work directly with leaders to identify objectives related to communication and program development strategies at Total Turf Experience
Required Experience:
Minimum of (3) years athletic training experience in a sports environment

Required Education:
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in health related field.

Required Training/Certification/Licensure:
Must have fulfilled all requirements of the NATA Board of Certification Inc. exam and state licensure or regulation as determined by the State of New Jersey
CPR Certification

Possess certification relative to specialty: BLS minimum requirement, ACLS requirement for critical care, labor and delivery, emergency department. NALS for neonatal areas. PALS for those areas with children: Pediatrics and emergency department
Possess or eligible for Advanced Practice License in State of New Jersey.
